Weekend Festivities!

First off, I'll post some over-due pictures of the newest addition to our family...

Peter now has a work truck! This thing's a BEAST... Big, & LOUD! :-)And here's more proof that we live in one of the prettiest places! The fields are close to harvesting now, so it's just beautiful, everywhere! (click on the pic, and you'll see the crop circle in the distance) Fri - Mon we camped up at Pinehollow Resort... It's about 45 minutes SE of The Dalles... so, close enough that we could come back for meeting Sun. a.m.. I'm not sure "resort" really is the word for it, but we had a nice time! We rented a little cabin, right on the lake front that kept us nice and cozy at night (until the heater quit - hmph)... that's my kind of camping! :)

And that about wraps it up! We had a nice barbecue this evening with some friends, and now are just kickin' back... hope everyone had a nice weekend too!

Memorial Day Weekend

Hey there!

We're off to funeral in Spokane tomorrow (Friday) and then we'll be camping for the rest of the weekend... hopefully we'll come home w/some pictures to share!

Lots to catch up on!!

Hello... I have a bit to catch up on! I'll start with the most recent and work my way back through the week...

SUNDAY 5.13.07:
Had a nice morning meeting and then came home to some beautiful weather!
Peter worked outside for awhile, rotating tires, arranging flower beds, killing weeds & resealing the gutter...

Here's the flower bed:

I "worked" inside on my homework and test for the week. My homework is always due on Sunday night, as well as a quiz each week, and inevitably I save it until the last minute!
Dan and Julie Parsons had called on Saturday wondering if we wanted to go find some trails with them on Sunday... so pending on me getting my homework done, we were to join them... and we did! :-) That's good motivation to get in gear with homework!

SATURDAY 5.12.07:
We were invited to Richard and Beth's wedding. Peter works with Rich down at O2... It was nice to be with them on their special day... They were married at Skamania Lodge, which I might add is a beautiful place! It was a nice day, a little bit overcast and some wind, but at least not wet!! The wedding was at 3:00, with lots of food to follow!

THIS & LAST SATURDAY 5.5.07 & 5.12.07:
Peter's work is coming right along! Here's the progress of our sprinkler system... The double check back-flow preventer valve (that was a mouthful) is in, so trenching is next... Wahoo! Grass here we come!

It was 88 degrees today! SO beautiful and warm!!! I'm ready for summer!

It arrived, in all it's glory and I've been playing on it all evening! Here's some pictures of the newest addition to our family. :-PLook, it even has a remote! I can lock it like a car...

Me - Trying to figure it out... it's a bit of a learning curve coming from a PC!
Enuf for now! (By the way, iPhoto is a cool free photo editing tool, from what I can tell so far)

I'm getting a new laptop!

My new MacBook Pro should be delivered tomorrow or Wednesday... pictures to come! :-)

Update (5-1-07 6:33 pm PST): Looks like it'll be Wednesday... Grrr... I don't know if I'm that patient! :-P
