Come Visit! It's green (almost) and clean!

So much for weekly blogging!
Here's some of our progress on this busy Saturday... :)

Peter has been working so diligently on the sprinkler system, and today we watched water spray!!! Here's a few pictures of his work: (more at our website)

This is the valve box for the three zones that control the spinklers to the backyard.
There was a brush fire downtown-ish today... We had a birds eye (almost) view from here... I don't think there was much damage except to an underground fiber optic line.
And I thought I'd post some pictures of our guest rooms to see if I can convince anyone to come visit!! Here comes my best sales pitch for visiting The Dalles!

Well, ours doesn't but the neighbors sure does... and beautifully too! They're kind enough to share with us - we're scarfing down fresh snap peas this week! :-) (there's plenty to go around!)

Quickie

Not much time to write a lot tonight, so this'll be mostly catching up on pictures from the last week or so! :)

We spent most of last weekend in Portland at the Rose Cup races! One of the contractors at Peter's work sponsored the races, so we were able to get some tickets. It was LOTS of fun! We both got a bit sunburned, but enjoyed the 90 degree sunshine!

Two of my favorite cars there - they were racing partners, but the yellow one didn't make it past the first lap! They're called Lola's... I'd never seen them before - pretty sweet ride!Mmm...
We never saw this one race, but it sure was pretty sitting there!
Fastest by FAR of the Formula Series races - he even lapped the #2 position!

This 'vette was SO loud! Fast too... she came in # 2 behind the Jaguar (see pic below)
Jaguar: Super fast car! I think they maybe had a few aftermarket parts on this one... :)
Dodge Viper - This one often raced w/her sister car, which looked exactly the same except the other's spoiler was orange...
This one's for Peter... Sherrie's Birthday @ Casa El Mirador - Last week! And her Birthday tarts!
I'm looking forward to Parma Convention this weekend!
