... In with the new!!
Peter spent a portion of last Saturday putting our first new window in!! :-)
Window's in:
Window's out!
Meanwhile I scrubbed the shower & didn't want to ruin my pedicure!
Drywall and trim are out
The master craftsman ascending! :)
Covered with housewrap
"X" marks the spot
...and the window of the hour!! It poured the whole time... hence the sopping wet shirt. :)
Viola! New window in! What a huge change - definitely for the better! Getting it up to the second story was fun... NOT. Peter climbed up one ladder, I climbed up the other & we slowly hoisted the 7ft window up!
2nd project - this one was Saturday evening. :) The lovely (translate UGLY) fluorescent light that was in the kitchen burnt out and when Peter went to replace it, the whole unit tore out of the ceiling. Sooo... what better time to put the can lights in the kitchen than 9pm on Saturday night?! :)
Heehee. That's my honey.
... there you go - easy as pie!
Since he was in the practice of installing lights, he took out this small florescent above the sink...
...And put these directional lights in instead. :)
Yay for new lights! They'll look even better with new a whole new kitchen someday!
After meeting on Sunday Peter tore out the octagonal window in the front bathroom, framed a new rectangle one...
Housewrapped it...
... and put the new window in!!! It looks SOOOO much better than the old, ugly porthole!
-From afar-
An outside view of the new bedroom window!
An inside view of the new bathroom window!
Peter's been working in the evening on the rock on the garage... it's just about done!!!! Yahoo! My husband is oh, so amazing!

They do look pretty cool - but I would suggest forgetting about posting the new look and concentrate just on Peter's facial expressions... they are much more interesting! :D
Oh, and cute toes!
Yea the toe thing was original! BTW - I love the color scheme in your bathroom. You ought to go to school for interior design!
