Master Bedroom and Bath Finale

Tah-dah!
The bath transformation has turned out absolutely beautiful.
The toilet is behind that closed door... I decided you didn't need to see it. :)
LOVE, LOVE the way the shower turned out.  Isn't that frameless door a beaut?

The skirt around the tub was quite the labor of love.  Peter built it out of beautiful birch and poplar wood, and I planned to stain it to match the vanity.  Hah.  I guess I should have done a little research - come to find out, birch and poplar take stain very differently and the variation in the wood colors made for an awfully ugly and splotchy finish.  So after two coats of ebony colored stain and two coats of polyurethane finish, I sanded it back down, and repainted with a dark brown, almost-black paint that ended up matching the vanity perfectly.  :-)
We still need to clean the grout residue off of the tile, but you get the idea... :-)
So, that covers the whole house now!  Keep your fingers crossed for us that the first buyer who looks at it will offer us a full-price, cash deal that closes in 10 days.
Hah.
I can dream, can't I?

What happened to the little hole in the corner where the squirrels played acrobatics? and I'm not sure that house is really yours... it's waaay to neat. jk. (But it is starting to take on that "for sale" look.) The bed needs Dozer curled up on it to look authentic. Best of luck on the market!

A dream house like you've turned this one into?? No PROBlem getting full price from the very first lookers!! They'd be crazy not to jump on it. I just feel sorry that you two won't be able to sit back, relax & enjoy all your hard work - but onward to the next adventure and best of luck!
