Hey there. Check out our pictures of our day trip to DC last Wednesday on Picasa. Peter & I went down just for a few hours and checked out a few of the Smithsonian's. I'm so excited that they are all FREE!!! The National Air & Space Museum was especially interesting - if there are any guys (or girls!) that read this blog that are interested, there's plenty of airplane photos! :) We were there for 2-ish hours and didn't even see 1/2 of the museum.
It's about a 30 minute metro ride from our place to DC, and the stop that we got off at put us right between the Washington Monument and the Capital Building... which also conveniently put us smack in the middle of many of the Smithsonian Musuems!

Nice pictures - dad will definitely enjoy the Air & Space Museum! Kinda makes me excited to visit!
You'll appreciate how ummmmm.... scared? we were when we found ourselves on a road in front of the Pentagon where truck traffic isn't allowed! Yikes! Lucky for us the guy on duty that night was feeling benevolent and let us go without any tickets... and even led us to how to get out of there!
